His fight with Rafael dos Anjos to win a second UFC world title looks to be off, but Conor McGregor picked up another accolade this week. The Crumlin man will appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine for the first, this is what will be on shelves all of the world. https://twitter.com/SInow/status/702170832907456513?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw The magazine are glowing in their praise of the Irish fighter, here's a quote: "He is the brightest star in the UFC cosmos right now, the sport’s center of gravity, and the rare fighter whose talents in the Octagon keep pace with his talents for promotion." McGregor joins the likes of Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, LeBron James who have also appeared on the cover down through the years.
