Long overdue mark of respect to the great man...
While putting a
series of plaques up around his favourite haunts was good, now we have the sort of recognition for Ross O'Carroll Kelly that the rugby great deserves.
It appears that a fully fledged statue to Ross O'Carroll Kelly is now in situ beside the Molly Malone statue outside the main Tourist Office in Dublin.
While we suspect it won't be a permanent feature (and may have something to do with his new book) we would whole-heartedly endorse leaving this recreation of the legendary Rosser in place for good.
ROCK introduced it to us in typically glorious fashion too...
Update: The statue will actually live in the window of Dubray Books until Sunday. Go see it before it disappears
