PIC: Henry Shefflin won’t be too happy with this caption under his name on Irish TV

Conor Heneghan

This won’t go down well in Kilkenny.

You won’t find too many people around the country who don’t know who Henry Shefflin is.

‘The King’ retired from inter-county hurling last year after picking up, amongst many accolades, ten All-Ireland titles, 11 All-Stars and three Hurler of the Year awards.

He’s probably renowned as the greatest hurler of all-time, which is why we’ve a sneaking suspicion that whoever is in charge of captioning on Irish TV’s Out and About in Ireland must be from Tipp, Cork, Waterford or another of the Cats’ biggest rivals.

Something tells us Henry might be on the receiving end of a fair bit of slagging in his home county after this.

Cheers to Tipp Champs 2016 for sending this our way. If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to our WhatsApp number 087-4001102, [email protected] or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter
