Twitter has its say as Hunt tries to clarify those comments regarding the levels of commitment amongst GAA players...

It's been a busy few days for Stephen Hunt after his recent comments in The Independent caused quite a stir amongst GAA fans and players alike. His direct quote was, "If GAA players tried to live with the level of commitment shown by a professional footballer, they wouldn’t know what hit them." The Ipswich Town midfielder was on GameOn this evening and told Hugh Cahill that his words were intended to provide a counter argument to Joe Brolly’s comments that soccer players were not ideal role models when held in comparison to GAA players. Needless to say Twitter was in full voice..
