PIC: This Irish fan’s immersion-themed flag could win the battle of the flags at Euro 2016

Colm Boohig

Who left the immersion on?

Irish flags and Euro 2016; they really do go hand-in-hand. Along with the massive craic had by fans in France, they have taken pride of place among the Boys in Green supporters.

JOE reader and Roscommon native Cathal Keaveney and his two friends, Bryan McCoy and Daragh Lettice, are jetting off to France for the Euros and they have brought a very special flag with them.

The level of detail here is magical.

Funnily enough, the gang don’t actually have tickets for either of the remaining group matches, but they do have a plan, as Cathal explained to JOE:

“We’re flying into Paris tomorrow night (Wednesday), and hopefully getting the train to Bordeaux on Friday, if they are still running.

“We’ll be back to Paris on Monday and home Tuesday. We have no tickets for the match, but we’ll do our best to get some”.

Let’s hope they secure a couple of tickets, because it would be a shame if a flag of this quality went unnoticed on TV.

Cheers to Cathal Keaveney for sending this our way. If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to our WhatsApp number 087-4001102, [email protected] or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter.
