PIC: Jamie Carragher makes very interesting claim about Didi Hamann and one night in Tokyo
Tell us more, Jamie.
Former Liverpool teammates Jamie Carragher and Didi Hamann had what might be described as an ‘interesting’ exchange on Twitter on Monday afternoon when a debate over Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius was suddenly taken up a notch.
Karius has been receiving plenty of attention due to some high-profile mistakes for the Reds of late and for an interview in which he responded to criticism of his form by Gary Neville.
Gary’s brother Phil got involved on Match of the Day 2 on Sunday night when he suggested that Karius should keep schtum and get on with his job, a view that itself generated plenty of debate and a fair degree of criticism for the younger Neville sibling.
Neville’s comments echoed those of Jamie Carragher following Karius’ display in the Bournemouth game and when Didi Hamann weighed into the debate on Monday morning in defence of his compatriot, it soon got very interesting.

That's the most laughable thing I've read in a long time. Disrespectful to say the least https://t.co/eYjYfhg9kU

Carra is out of order too. Karius is 23 years old and played over 100 top flight games. Outrageous comments, deserves a little more respect https://t.co/DV7Wn2Ldt2

You can criticise as much as you want but you don't tell an adult to shut up. Poor form https://t.co/gmaaoeqkl1
