The former Donegal manager is making waves in the football world.
Having led Donegal from obscurity to only the second All-Ireland in their history and two All-Ireland Finals in three years, Jim McGuinness established a reputation as one of the most revolutionary managers in Gaelic Football before his departure last year.
Before he left the Donegal post, McGuinness had begun working with Celtic in the Scottish Premier League and by all accounts he’s made quite an impact since taking up the role.
Such is McGuinness’ reputation and so legendary are his powers of motivation that he has already been touted as a future soccer manager despite no real history in the game, but he appears to be going the right way about it if it is a career path he wishes to pursue in the future.
McGuinness gave a presentation at a FAI Pro-License course yesterday that was attended by none other than former Chelsea goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini.
To say he was impressed would be an understatement.
