A classy, classy gesture.

The Causeway under-21 hurlers won the Kerry under-21 hurling championship at the weekend, ending a famine of 35 years in the process. While such an achievement was no doubt celebrated heartily in the community, the players involved in the success didn’t forget a former teammate of theirs who sadly couldn’t celebrate with them after passing away earlier this year.
In an incredibly classy gesture, players from the Causeway team paid a visit to the grave of the late Kevin Diggins along with the trophy and as well as being honoured in the picture above, he was also remembered in a really lovely Facebook post that spoke of his qualities as a person and his involvement in hurling from an early age. barnastooka Classy, classy stuff. Fair play to everyone involved. Pics via Facebook/Barnastooka Hurling
