In the process of trying to stop Alvaro Negredo score Manchester City’s second goal today, Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny ended up with a very deep cut to his knee.
It was so bad the defender had to be replaced before half-time, and there was initial concern that the cut was so bad, he was destined for a long spell on the sidelines.
In the last hour the Frenchman has posted a picture of the cut on his Facebook page, where he adds that it is ‘not too serious’ which is great news for Arsenal fans in desperate need of some today on the back of that 6-3 defeat at the Etihad.
Still, that will take more than a bandage to fix.
