It was so bad the defender had to be replaced before half-time, and there was initial concern that the cut was so bad, he was destined for a long spell on the sidelines.

Facebook page, where he adds that it is 'not too serious' which is great news for Arsenal fans in desperate need of some today on the back of that 6-3 defeat at the Etihad.
