PIC: Liam Neeson played hurling in his early days and here’s the proof

He’s taken (eh?) a turn since then.

Back before he was the most badass middle-aged action star to come out of County Antrim, Liam Neeson used to play hurling in his hometown of Ballymena.

The 63-year-old turned out for St. Patrick’s College in Ballymena back in the day, and the proof is here after this brilliant old photo was sent into us by JOE reader Paul McDonnell.
