No holding back.
I’m certain that the majority of Liverpool fans are thinking ‘thank you Man City, now who can be buy?’ after the Raheem Sterling saga looks like it’s coming to an end after Man City and Liverpool agreed a fee for the 20-year-old.
The general concensous is that £49m seems to be more than a fair amount, especially since Sterling asked to leave Anfield twice and rejected an £100,000-a-week deal to stay with the ‘Pool.
Former Liverpool favourite Jason McAteer wasn’t shy about letting his feelings known on Twitter regarding the imminent transfer and the Irish cult-hero definitely thinks that a move to Manchester won’t develop Sterling’s career.
Take a look.
Rodwell Sinclair………….sterling !! Should always be carful what you wish for #bench
