There’s no denying that Daniel Sturridge is one of the best strikers in English football but his rotten run of injuries has been a serious blow to Liverpool’s season.

Along with Luis Suarez, the England striker led the line for Rodgers’ men brilliantly last year, he scored 28 goals for club and country, but injury has restricted his minutes on the pitch this season.
