A bad day for the Hull City and Ireland defender.

While most of the issues at the top of the table were already settled before a ball was kicked yesterday, the final relegation spot was still to be decided. Hull City's failure to beat Man Utd ultimately meant nothing due to Newcastle's win over West Ham but the woes of their Irish defender Paul McShane were compunded after he suffered a nasty injury following a clumsy challenge by Marouane Fellaini. The Belgian was rightfully sent-off during the 0-0 draw for the incident which left McShane with a deep cut on his head and this nasty gash on his leg. Take a look and here's hoping that it's not too serious.
