Zing!
A mere three days after Jamie Carragher publicly hit out at Mario Balotelli following his move to Nice on transfer deadline day, the Italian striker has responded with a brief but cutting retort.
Balotelli left Liverpool to join the Ligue 1 side on Wednesday on a free transfer, but despite a £16 million loss for the Reds, Carragher made it clear that he thought it was good business.
Balotelli on a free is still paying over the odds by Nice.

Balotelli, who had either stewed for three days to think of a comeback or was belatedly informed of Carragher’s insult, responded with a one-line barb at the Liverpool legend, calling him a “bad player” and a “wonderful hater” on Twitter.
In an illustration of how much effort he went to with his response, Balotelli even included a picture of a gold trophy marked “best hater,” enshrined with a picture of his chiselled torso for good measure.

Top marks for effort Mario, but it probably came a little too late to have the desired effect.
