PIC: Meath club win Junior B game with 14 men and their manager playing in a pair of jeans
Only in Junior B.
Anyone who has ever played at the grade will know that not everything goes to plan at Junior B level in the GAA, but somehow, teams always find a way to make do.
And so it proved in Meath last night where Dunderry found themselves with only 14 players before a clash with Curraha until manager Pat Gough stepped in as the 15th man while wearing a pair of jeans.
The picture below, sent into us anonymously by a colleague of Pat's in Dunderry, is vintage Junior B GAA.
Dunderry were back down to 14 when they had a man sent off during the game but they still managed to overcome their opponents on a scoreline of 2-12 – 0-12.
Maybe Pat should be togging out in his jeans more often.
