The party is still in full swing in Carlow, with a goat now pictured with the Leinster club trophy.
In fairness, we expected the celebrations after Mount Leinster Rangers’ success in the Leinster club championship final to be pretty wild. After all, they were the rank outsiders before it started and to beat the champions of Dublin (Ballyboden) and Wexford (Oulart-The Ballagh) on the way was truly remarkable for a club only founded in the 1980s.
So we will forgive them for continuing to have the craic over 48 hours after the game finished. And the latest picture posted on their Twitter page suggests we are all missing a hell of a party.
