Pic: Munster’s Billy Holland was probably regretting his choice of t-shirt after meeting Ruud van Nistelrooy on the Copacabana beach

It’s a good job the fashion police weren’t patrolling the famous beach in Rio de Janeiro yesterday… for Billy and Ruud.

It’s a good job the fashion police weren’t patrolling the famous beach in Rio de Janeiro yesterday… for Billy and Ruud.

The Munster forward ran into Holland and Manchester United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy in Rio de Janeiro last night and, as you would under the circumstances, he sidled up to the Dutchman and requested a photo that he could show off to all his friends afterwards.

As Billy himself pointed out, however, he probably wishes he was wearing a different top than the vest below, which he ‘claims’ belongs to Munster team-mate Donnacha Ryan…

We’re not suggesting for one minute that there’s anything wrong with parading around in a One Direction vest – they may light up your world like no other vest – but forgive us for speculating that Holland’s choice of clothing may have been the result of a forfeit of some sort.

RVN’s not going to win any style awards either, mind. Who wears short shorts indeed?
