Pic: PSG posted a very cheeky meme to Chelsea fans on their Twitter account last night

If Chelsea were in need of any extra motivation to turn things around at Stamford Bridge next week then this will certainly help.

Considering the manner in which the game ended last night, Chelsea fans leaving Paris last night hardly needed the defeat rubbed in their faces, but PSG decided to further heap the misery upon their visitors with a meme posted on their official Twitter account shortly after securing what could be a crucial 3-1 victory at the Parc des Princes.

The meme comes in the aftermath of a pretty petty display of one-upmanship on behalf of both clubs on Twitter earlier in the week, when there was an exchange of messages where both clubs sought to outdo one another with a series of stats based on their performances in the Champions League to date.

Admittedly, the line used in the meme is clever enough, but it’s not the sort of carry-on you normally see between clubs of this stature and we’re sure Chelsea will relish reminding PSG of their arrogance should they manage to overturn the deficit in London next Tuesday.

Arrogance and smugness on behalf of an association from France? There’s a first for everything we suppose.
