Any reports that the Irish pair were at loggerheads over Rory McIlroy legal dispute with Horizon Sports Management appear wide of the mark, as the world number one embraces compatriot Graeme McDowell at the end of their singles matches at the Ryder Cup. McIlroy and McDowell appeared as close as ever after the former had beaten Rickie Fowler 5&6 and McDowell had completed his victory over Jordan Spieth by a score of 2&1.
