Hearty congrats to one of Ireland’s favourite sportsmen.
It’s been some week for Shane Lowry.
Just days after an admirable showing at the Masters and a hole-in-one at the biggest golf tournament in the world, the Offaly man this week married his long-time partner Wendy Honner in New York.
Shane and Wendy had been due to get married later this year but decided to do so in the Big Apple on the way home from Augusta instead, with Lowry tweeting a lovely picture from outside a New York subway this afternoon.
