There’s no denying that Ireland has missed Shay Given since he announced his retirement from international football.
The legendary keeper turned out for yesterday’s Game4Grenfell, alongside other big names such as Jose Mourinho, Olly Murs, and 50 Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan.
Sharing a photo of himself and the Irish actor on his Instagram page, Shay asked his fans if anyone could come up with any better titles for his autobiography than his own… “50 Saves of Shay.”

Of course, after sharing the photo on his Twitter account, plenty on social media had some cheeky suggestions for the former Newcastle number one. Including Alan Shearer.
Of course, Shay gives as good as he gets and had a nice dig at Shearer’s time as caretaker manager on Tyneside.
Were there that many? How about 14 Saves of Shay …?!??♂️ https://t.co/aJzKvHeNmn
