Pic: So, there was more than one Marty Morrissey at the Aussie Rules this weekend

What’s better than one Marty Morrissey? How about four of him.

While Ireland’s rugby team stole most of the limelight against their Australian opponents on Saturday, the International Rules players almost staged an amazing comeback in Perth.

While we’re fairly certain that the fans mainly travelled out to see the lads there was also a hardcore group who came dressed as JOE icon Marty Morrissey.

We always felt that the RTE presenters infectious energy, down to earth charm and passion for GAA would win him worldwide fame and these GAA fans did their part to earn the Mallow man some new admirers.

We really hope that there was a bunch of bemused Aussie fans after seeing this effort and also that the lads piled on the Factor 50 suncream, we imagine there was a lot of farmer tans around Perth over the last few days.
