Class move from the Spaniards.
Spanish top-tier side, Rayo Vallecano have launched their brand new away kit ahead of the new La Liga season.
The jersey is black, but instead of their traditional red stripe, they have replaced it with the rainbow symbol of freedom and also the traditional symbol of gay pride.
The rainbow symbol appears on both the jersey and the shorts.

Better still, the club pledges that €7 from each shirt sale will go to causes which support “people fighting against AIDS, to those with disabilities, those who never lose hope, who struggle to protect the environment, those who fight against child abuse and gender-based violence and those who suffer discrimination based on sexual orientation.”
In an era where it seems the top level professional football has lost touch with reality, it’s heartening to see Rayo Vallecano proving that there are some decent sorts still left in the Beautiful Game.
