JOE are not fashion designers by any stretch of the imagination but we think we can tell when something just doesn’t work. In other words, our eyes are in good enough working order to allow us realise when someone is wearing shocking gear.
The whole world had that realisation over the weekend when pictures of the Colombian women’s cycling team kit surfaced online and it’s fair to say it’s up there with the worst sportswear we’ve ever seen in our lives. Check out the scary images here.
There’s been uproar since the design was released with the UCI calling it ‘unacceptable’. However, the kit designer Ultimo Kilometro tweeted a picture of 2010 kit of Footon-Servetto-Fuji which has “extra crotch padding” in a bid to show that the new kit isn’t offensive…
