Pic: This Donegal fan is planning on bringing a Father Ted inspired banner to Croker on Sunday

Down with that sort of thing...

Down with that sort of thing…

The craic will be ninety all over Kerry, Donegal and Dublin over the next three nights. A lot of people will descend on the capital this evening just so they’re nicely settled in for Sunday’s All-Ireland football final at Croke Park.

The great thing about All-Ireland final weekend is the fun between the fans in the build up. Yes, there’s always slagging and taking the piss but it’s all in good spirits so there’s some laugh to be had.

There will be plenty of banners on show on Jones’ Road on Sunday afternoon but there’s one in particular we want you to look out for. Donegal man James Gallagher tweeted us a picture of the sign he plans to proudly display in GAA HQ and we bloody love it…

We presume the Tony he’s referring to is the Donegal senior Anthony Thompson. If not, James is just an avid Father Ted fan and that’s fine by us.
