Ardnaree Sarsfields from Mayo took on Kerry outfit Templenoe in the All-Ireland Junior Final in Croke park yesterday.

Unfortunately, as is the case in all finals, somebody had to lose and on this occasion it was the Mayo side who lost out.

A youthful Templenoe side just had too much for them on the day but we've no doubt this won't be the last we hear of Ardnaree Sarsfields.

After the game, a supporter of Templenoe posted this excellent message on the Ardnaree Sarsfields Facebook page in a move that is the definition on sportsmanship.

Ardnaree then came back with this wonderfully gracious message and basically summed up all that is good about the GAA.
