With not a whole lot happening on the inter-county circuit at this time of year, we’re relying on the release of new jerseys for a bit of activity and now we know the kit that the All-Ireland Football Champions will be togging out in next season.

The new jersey was unveiled in the Kerry GAA Store in Killarney yesterday and will be available for Kerry fans to snap up over the Christmas period.

The new jersey isn’t that different to the one worn by Eamonn Fitzmaurice’s charges last season; there’s a round collar replacing the traditional collar, three stripes down the sleeves and the hoop in the middle is ever so slightly different but that’s about it.

As long as somebody wearing this jersey is lifting Sam again next season, Kerry fans won’t care too much about how their heroes look in it, but on first glance, we’re definitely giving it the thumbs up.

Hat-tip to Dave Ó Súilleabháin for sending this one our way
