Oh, America… What will you think of next?
Say hello to the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Dog, which has been created by a team of culinary geniuses (read: marketing executives with no regard for people’s cholesterol levels) from minor league baseball team The Wilmington BlueRocks, a Kansas City Royals affiliate.
Creative pieces of food like this are quite common at minor league games, as they help to get the team into mainstream news (case and point) and also to get ‘part-time’ fans into the stadium just to try out the new creation. We, for one, are sold.
So what exactly is the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Dog?
Apparently, it features a sugar coated doughnut bun covered in raspberry jelly, a foot-long frankfurter and salty bacon to top it all off.
Do you think you could stomach it?

"Kremey Weenie" or "Rocky's Sweet Meat" gets my vote for the new, one of a kind, @wilmbluerocks hot dog! pic.twitter.com/YAuqGQuaiS
