Rugby players are getting bigger and bigger these days and judging by the size of some of the lads you see coming through the academy system, they seem to be getting bigger at a younger age too.
If there was any doubt about that growing trend, take a look at the photo below, which was apparently (we stress the word ‘apparently’) taken during an under-10’s rugby match in Australia. Under-10!

We have to admit our huge admiration for the bravery shown by the opponent about to tackle him above, but we can’t help but think that it didn’t end well.
