Twitter has its say on the passing of a man widely regarded as Ireland’s best ever rugby player.
JOE was saddened to hear of Jack Kyle’s death this afternoon because the fly-half was one of the best players to ever have pulled on the green jersey.
He was instrumental in Ireland’s 1948 Grand Slam victory as well as making six Test appearances for the Lions on the tour of Australia and New Zealand in 1950.
Here’s what some of the game’s most famous names had to say about the Ulster icon.
