Elfin’ brilliant.
We can’t say enough good things about the Irish football fans that regularly travel to watch the Boys in Green on foreign soil.
Their dedication to the cause deserves plenty of praise and as well having a ball everywhere they go, they come up with some ingenious flags and banners to display in support of the team.
We thought nobody could ever top the great Shane Long flag seen in Warsaw last month, but Sean O’Connor and his wife Louise, representing the Shire Bar in Killarney, sent one our way that gives it a run for its money.
Sean and Louise proudly displayed it with the help of a couple of locals in Sarajevo this morning and we dare say that a lot of travelling fans will be heeding the instructions on the flag in Zenica this evening.
Hopefully if they are enjoying a tipple or two after the game it’s in celebration of a win or at least a positive result ahead of the return leg on Monday night.
As long as we don’t make a Baggins of the game tonight, everyone will be happy enough. *JOE goes to get coat*
Cheers to Sean O’Connor for sending this our way. If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to [email protected] or find us on Facebook or Twitter.
