Devin Toner is generally head and shoulders above most players on the rugby pitch, but TG4 were keen to stress just how tall the Meath man really is.
The Leinster lock was part of the young Irish side that edged past the USA 15-12 in Houston last night, relying on the boot of Ian Madigan as five players made their international debuts in a nervy affair.
The line-out was in difficulty early on, losing four of the first six throws but Toner had the edge in terms of height. In fact TG4 let their viewers know that when it comes to height, Toner has the vertical advantage on just about everyone in the game, as he is the tallest player in the game apparently.
At 6’ 11”, you would expect him to spend most of his time on and off the pitch looking down at others
