Pic: Welsh lock Jake Ball delivered a great response to the BBC typo referring to him as ‘ballsack’

Fair play to the Scarlets man for his reply. This takes balls…

Among all the brilliant international rugby on offer over the weekend, one story that might have slipped under your radar was the BBC making a right balls up of the Wales squad list.

The meeting between Wales and Australia was another classic meeting between the sides as once again, the inevitable last minute Wallabies score broke the hearts of Welsh fans.

In the build up to the game, the Beeb made one of the funniest grammatical errors that we’ve ever seen but we do feel slightly sorry for the journalist responsible.

Typos and speeeling spelling errors are commonplace in any online publication – apart from JOE of course *cough, cough* – but the BBC referring to the magnificently bearded Jake Ball as ‘Ballsack’ on their teamsheet is on a whole other level of mistake.
