Pic: Who’s this Yane Horgan commentating on the Ireland v Argentina match on Sky Sports?
Did Shaggy change his name unbeknownst to us?
All eyes were on Sky’s coverage of Kilkenny v Offaly in Nowlan Park this evening to see if there would be any glaring errors in the broadcaster’s first GAA game, but it seems as if it was their rugby counterparts making the mistakes.
Sky are also covering Ireland’s clash with Argentina in Resistencia, but the lads in the graphics department got it slightly wrong when referring to the co-commentator, who is, of course, Leinster and Ireland legend Shane Horgan.
Of course, it's very likely the case that it was the fault of a local broadcaster whose live feed Sky are using to broadcast to viewers on this side of the world, but whoever was to blame, the mistake did not go unnoticed…
Shane Horgan must commentate under a different name with Sky Sports!! ☺️ @JOEdotie @IRFURugby @SkySportsNews pic.twitter.com/lcwXFH0sq8
