We’re not taking a swipe at Rory and G-Mac here, he’s also a lot taller than Luke Donald and Dustin Johnson as well.

We don’t think Rory McIlroy or Graeme McDowell are sensitive about their height, but if they are, they would have been feeling pretty insignificant when posing next to former basketball star Yao Ming at a World Golf Championship event in China this week.   Rory and G-Mac shouldn’t feel so bad, however, because, apart from the tallest man in the world, pretty much everyone looks tiny in comparison to 7 feet 6 inches tall Yao Ming; Dustin Johnson is 6 foot 3 and he might as well be one of the Lilliputians in the company of Gulliver for God’s sake. Brings a whole new, literal, meaning to the phrase 'A giant amongst men'.
