A decent match, an even better match report…

Whoever writes the match reports for Laois’ Mountmellick GAA club needs to get a job writing the match reports for ALL GAA matches from now on.

Their Junior A football team beat The Rock 0-11 to 0-9 in the relegation final today, but that’s not really important.

Well, it is important, but it’s the match report that you really want to see.

From the players’ “inability to kick the ball over the bar”, to the team’s corner-forwards “orbiting” the team’s full-forward, the report is brilliantly written.

There is, however, a serious enough message to finish things off too. Remember folks, get out there and support your local team.
