Fair play.
Let’s face it, besides the last two performances against Italy and Scotland, Ireland had a Six Nations to forget, by our usual high standards.
England were faultless though, and their Grand Slam victory was well deserved, with plenty of praise coming along the way from the standard places.
However, this tribute from an old enemy might come as a pleasant surprise, even if it is a couple of days late (the attached Gif is pretty cool).

It seems unlikely now, but let’s hope that someone like Jonny Wilkinson can return the favour this time next year.
