You may remember that we told you we’ve been living in hiding, fearing for our lives, unsure as to when Derryman and Sunday Game panellist Joe Brolly was going to come to our house in the middle of the night and throttle us.
It was all because of the new must-have GAA accessory of the year – the JOE Brolly – and it involved lawyers, Twitter DMs and a lot of high-stakes bargaining.

Thankfully though, all’s well that ends well as Joe Brolly finally got his hands on a JOE Brolly of his very own.
As JOE reader Francis McKeating rightfully pointed out, “what if Joe Brolly had a JOE Brolly brolly? Because Joe Brolly with a JOE Brolly brolly would make for a brolly good pic.”
You’re damn right Francis, you’re damn right.
So what’s better than one Joe Brolly? Why it’s two Joe Brollys (Brollies?) of course. Just look at that smile as he received his great gift from JOE.ie Editor Paddy McKenna at Croke Park today.
