While the Irish international team is busy tending to the very pressing issue of Euro 2016, Kevin Doyle is in Colorado living the American dream.
The Wexford man has been playing for the Colorado Rapids in the Western Conference of the MLS, and by the looks of things he’s enjoying his football.
He’s also making some J1 students very happy whenever he can.
Johnny Moynihan and his mates from Cork went to see Doyle play in their 2-1 win over Chicago Fire this weekend and they let the striker know beforehand with a cheeky request to get a picture after the game:
@KevinDoyle1983 doyler, the cork lads are going to the match tonight would love to sort out a picture or something after man?

Amazingly, Doyle got back to them right away and delivered all that and more to the lucky lads. The guys got a picture as well as Doyle’s jersey as a keepsake.
