They said it Paulie, not us.
Deadpool is one of the most popular flicks on show in Irish cinemas this weather and the superhero romp starring Ryan Reynolds is going down very well with Irish audiences.
A fair few members of that Irish audience, however, have noticed that the superhero in question, Deadpool himself, bears a resemblance to a certain Irish sporting legend when the mask is off.
Paulie, if you’re reading, let us stress that it was our readers that made the connection and not us and for everyone else, we’ll let you make your own judgement after seeing the evidence below.
Saw @deadpoolmovie last night. Can't shake the similarity between unmasked Pool & @Paul_OConnell. Scary! @JOEdotie pic.twitter.com/ASLEJTBjtE

Also, am I the only one who seen Paul O'Connell under the mask in #Deadpool?

Did anyone else think that Deadpool sans the mask looked like an angry and very sunburnt Paul O'Connell #justputtingitoutthere
