Oh dear.
Manchester United’s season has gone from bad to worse after they were defeated 2-1 by Danish minnows FC Midtjylland in the Europa League tonight.
The evening got off to a bad start for Louis van Gaal’s side before the match even kicked off, when goalkeeper David De Gea was injured in the warm-up.
Substitute ‘keeper Sergio Romero actually had a very good game and, despite Memphis giving the visitors the lead in the first leg of the Round of 32 match, United went on to lose.
This has been the Twitter reaction…
It's hard to comprehend how poor Manchester United are at present.

Amazing to think that was actually Manchester United. They were the best team in England and Europe not so long ago.
