The UFC has descended on Dublin with both present and past stars gracing the capital in the lead up to the big event on Saturday.
Former UFC champions Chuck Liddell and Forrest Griffin and current featherweight fighter Cub Swanson have been exploring the various sites that our capital city has to offer…
Chuck Liddell visited 37 Dawson St bar last night and was very impressed by the Dublin pub.
‘The Iceman’ has a fearsome reputation in the Octagon and the former light-heavyweight champion dished out some harsh lessons for crimes against fashion last night.
Liddell also went on the mandatory trip to the Guinness storehouse and was taught the correct technique for pouring the perfect pint of the black stuff.
Most importantly Chuck got to fulfill his lifelong dream of meeting his favorite musical artist Tommy Fleming…
Forrest Griffin informed the public why he is so excited to visit the Emerald Isle.
can’t wait to go to @ufc fight night in Dublin where I’m not considered pale

It seems Griffin, another former light-heavyweight champion, has been caught up in the selfie craze which has swept across the world. Here he is pictured taking one with Irish fighter Cathal Pendred. Rumours are spreading that he wants one with Enda Kenny before his trip in Ireland is over.
“@PendredMMA: I just bumped into @ForrestGriffin and he asked me for a selfie. #UFCDublin pic.twitter.com/tPCogH4iWV”

Cub Swanson has gotten caught up in the Open fever and has been enjoying 18 holes with some of the locals, although he may need a translator.
Me and my new friend Sharky. I could barely understand anything he said but he was cool 🙂 pic.twitter.com/ecRrJy2IXo

‘Killer Cub’ checking out Frederick Street. How did we not know he was exploring by himself? JOE would have gladly showed him around the capital.
Finally this montage would not be complete without Cub’s testament to how much he is enjoying his stay in Ireland.
