This truly interesting man will no longer take your guff.
He’s had it with everyone now, especially you.
The former Liverpool and Manchester United striker has taken to Twitter to voice his utter displeasure at what he perceives to be slanderous remarks made about him.
Apparently, the BT pundit did not back Gary Neville to be the next England manager, thank you very much.
The damage is done but at least the Daily Star are man enough to admit their mistake. pic.twitter.com/3WnwEGMyAG

If you think he’s done there, well, you’ve got another thing coming pal, because he’s not happy with various quotes being attached to him.
I’m happy to laugh at myself when I make a cock-up but creating a ridiculous quote and attaching my name to it every week is slanderous.

That’s it Michael, you te… oh, wait, he’s not done yet…
Shame on other media outlets who also printed a totally fabricated quote without even checking to see if I actually said it.

To be fair, such accusations must be genuinely irritating, so we feel for him in that regard.
Let’s cool the mood for a second with a blast from a happier past.
