Shane Williams looks set to make an appearance against the ACT Brumbies on Tuesday after he was called up by Warren Gatland to the Lions squad.
Williams currently plays for the Mitsubishi Dynaboars (what a name that is) in Japan after he retired from international rugby, so that made the call up an even bigger shock, and few were more surprised than the author of his Wikipedia page, as this picture proves.
He will only appear for one game it seems, as Gatland has made it clear to him that he’ll be gone by Wednesday, all of which simply adds to the fact that this is a very weird decision all together.
In other Lions news, Rory Best will captain the side against the Brumbies, while Sean O’Brien and Rob Kearney look set to start too, which is all great from an Irish point of view.
