Referee blows up hurling match 10 minutes early because of this enormous score difference

Mercy.

There was a right hammering in the Meath Junior Hurling Championship over the weekend.

Kildalkey recorded a 54 (fifty four) point win over Dunderry as the game ended 11-26 to 0-5 in Boardsmill.

The result is pretty eye-catching, but we have seen a few big winning margins in the last few months, however, the unique thing about this game is that the referee blew it up early.

The PRO of Dunderry confirmed to JOE that the final whistle was blown on the 50 minute mark.

The referee obviously saw no benefit for either side in seeing out the hour.
