Big, and great, news for the Irish provinces and the competition as a whole

The Celtic League has been through a fair few incarnations in its time but after a period of uncertainty regarding who would replace RaboDirect after they finished up this summer, a new sponsor is set to be officially unveiled on Thursday. According to WalesOnline, Guinness will become title sponsors of the league, a huge coup for and boost for the competition. The new season will see even bigger exposure for the competition, with Sky broadcasting games for the first time. Now, with the addition of one of the biggest names in the world as title sponsor, the future looks bright for the league.
