He's not going anywhere it would appear

The Honey Monster’s not ready to hang up the boots just yet.

Despite many reports to the contrary over the weekend, legendary Irish defender Richard Dunne has apparently not decided to retire after all and is on the lookout for a new club for next season.

Dunne’s rumoured retirement over the weekend prompted numerous deserved tributes to arguably one of the greatest Irish defenders of all-time.

A report in the Daily Star today, however, suggests that, following his release from QPR, that Dunne will be looking for a new club next season, which was confirmed on Twitter by Ian Taylor, head of Media and Communications at QPR.

At 35, it probably won’t be too long before Dunne does decide to finally call it a day, but he’ll still have plenty to offer in the short-term for any clubs looking for a rock at the heart of their defence.
