Galvin returned to the Kerry squad last year having originally decided to call it a day in 2014, but his game time was limited due to injuries and competition for places in the Kerry squad.
The Finuge clubman, who turned 36 in November and married Today FM DJ Louise Duffy on New Year’s Eve, enjoyed a distinguished career in the green and gold, winning four All-Ireland titles and three All-Star awards, as well as the Footballer of the Year award in 2009.
All the best in your retirement Paul.
