Those clever folks at Realt Dearg are at it again, enlisting Mario Rosenstock’s talents in a bid to get some balls.
A couple of years back we featured then new Dublin GAA club Realt Dearg’s search for a new keeper. We are glad to report the club have thrived ever since and now the club, which is based in the Terenure/Rathmines/Ranelagh area of Dublin, is looking for some extra funding.
The Version 1 Community Trust is a fund that various social and community groups can apply to for funding. Sporting clubs are also able to apply for money and the lads at Realt Dearg want €500 to get some extra balls, bibs and a few other bits and pieces.
And to make their application stand out, they enlisted the help of some pretty big names, or at least their voices, to help them.
As always, Mario Rosenstock of Gift Grub fame is top class as he gives us his best Roy Keane, Ronan O’Gara and Joan Burton impressions.
We’d say Realt Dearg are a shoo-in for the cash. You can’t say know to Roy, right?
