The start of this season’s Six Nations is only a matter of hours away, so what better way to get the ball rolling than with RTE’s Tom McGurk.

McGurk will be in charge of keeping order in the RTE studio over the coming weeks with passions often running as high among the pundits as it is on the pitch.
This video from RTE is a great way of whetting the appetite and takes a brief look back at some great days gone by and older traditions before moving onto our current crop and what our opponents might possibly offer in 2013.
It poignantly ends with the possibility that this could be Brian O’Driscoll’s final Six Nations campaign. The words spoken by McGurk about the former Irish captain were written by George Bernard Shaw to Michael Collins’ sister after the death of The Big Fellow.
That in itself should be enough to inspire the boys in green today.
